How to set ownership on drives

Open Computer Management (Local).
In the console tree, click Logical Drives.

* You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure.
*To open Computer Management, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
* You can only change ownership on drives formatted to use NTFS.
* You can change ownership settings on a remote computer or a local computer. To access a remote computer, right-click Computer Management (Local), click Connect to another computer, and then select the computer you want to connect to.
* Logical Drives only changes ownership of the drive, not the folders and files on the drive.
